This is JDPC Unit where intervention programmes on socio-economic development and empowerment of the people, organizations and communities are carried out, JDPC Onitsha builds capacities and capabilities for self-sufficiency and sustainable development.

JDPC Onitsha has used these programmes to empower the economically disadvantaged persons and improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized. More so, several programmes have been organized in eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, and promoting gender equality and empowerment women. the hope is that the new information and education awareness kickstarts the alleviation of poverty and fosters new approaches for the elimination of exclusions and injustices in the society.
