The World Food Day is an annual celebration to mark the Food and Agriculture organization founded on October 16th and launched by United Nations in 1945. JDPC queued in to the program to further ameliorate and cushion the effects the humanitarian conditions worsened by Covid 19 pandemic. In carrying out this, JDPC partnered with I. G. Chemicals and Allied Products Ltd, Benkay Dechis Industry Ltd and Seoman Ventures Nig. Ltd to feed 2200 most vulnerable persons ravaged by hunger in different locations of the Archdiocese of Onitsha. Twelve centers were created for the distribution of food to mark the 2020 World Food Day.
