History: PROMIC 2 is a scheme founded by OPEN HANDS FOUNDATION SWITERLAND that started in the year 2012. It was aimed to improve livelihood of the poor with access to loan to boast petty trading businesses. Sponsors: OPEN HANDS FOUNDATION.

Name of Communities: The project is being carried out in these communities: Nteje, Umueri, Nando, Aguleri, Umumbo, Umuezeanam, Obosi, Umueje, Awada, Nkwelle 3-3, Awka-etiti, Umudioka, Ogidi, Ega-oja, Omor, Umuoji, Odekpe, and Nkwelle Ezunanka.
No of beneficiaries reached. Since its inception one thousand three hundred and eight (1,308) persons have benefitted from the project.

Duration in the program, 4 years
Stories of change: Mrs Grace Iwuoba reported that she was giving a soft loan of N30,000, which was added to her shop. The profit made from her sales she uses for the welfare of her family.
Name of the Beneficiaries: Mrs Angela Ojeh
Community, Nkwelle Ezunanka
Duration in the program, 1 year.
Stories of change: Mrs Angela Ojeh testified how her pap (ogi) is moving well. She reported that she was giving a soft loan of N40,000 after which she became self reliance.
