JDPC Holy Spirit, Omagba planned demonstration on environmental cleanliness in Omagba as the streets were taken over by domestic wastes. JDPC mobilized residents under the full coverage of the media to express the slow responsiveness of the duty bearer in attending to issues raised on non-evacuation of waste in the area even the amount of money levied for waste management. The SSA to the governor of environment came to plead with the community members to step down their protest to enable him to take immediate action.

It is good to note that this intervention by JDPC resulted in quick response as the streets were cleared of refuse within three days.
