ECID hour brought to us by JDPC Onitsha as continuation of UN World day for the elimination of violence against women, had a phone in program at radio Sapientia (95.3fm) with the topic: observation 2020International day on GBV (Gender Bases Violence) prevention and incidence of reporting. The guest for the program was Prof. Ogugua Ikpeze PhD. She explained types of GBV such as battering, cultural discrimination,, rape, female genital mutilation and early marriage among others. She explained ways of eliminating GBV.

OUR CAUSES
Prof. Ogugua Ikpeze PhD. who is the chairperson of FIDA (International Federation of Female Lawyers Association Anambra state chapter, informed the public to come to FIDA center Awka on any issue, concerning GBV that they are there to bring justice to victims of GBV. Questions on inheritance rights was addressed but for more clarification on how to go about it the FIDA center is open for everyone.
