SUCCESS STORIES FROM MICROCREDIT BENEFICIARIES:

Mrs Chukwuemeka Nneka from Ogbakuba community reported on the impact of the N 100,000 financial empowerment given to her. I sell ladies wears.  I can now comfortably pay the school fees of my children. Thanks to JDPC Onitsha.

Mrs Emenalum Victoria from Umunankwo community testified on the impact of the N 100,000 given to her by     the microcredit officer that the empowerment has changed her life and improved the livelihood of her family. I can now offset my debts and buy cassava stems for the new planting season.

M rs Osadebe Chinwe from Umunankwo community testified the profitability and usefulness of JDPC financial empowerment. I paid for the registration fees of my daughter’s WAEC and NECO examination. Equally I plant pepper for domestic and commercial uses.

Mr Ayaduno Sylvester one of the beneficiaries through the loan scheme have been able to build a bungalow apartment for himself and his family.

Mr Okafor Calistus testified that through the loan scheme he was able to purchase a brand new motor bike (Okada) for commercial use after harvesting his rice. It has equally improved the quality of my family.

Mrs. Mary Nnamah and Mr. Jonathan said the loan given to them to support their farming yielded fruits. They were able to Purchase brand new deep freezer and generator each.

JDPC Onitsha for the period under review has given empowerment support of N   350,000 to four small business holders to support and sustain their businesses and to improve the source of their livelihood.  Victor Ikwuanusi bought a grinding machine.
