JDPC Onitsha school run programme started as an intervention to provide succor to parents and children of school age who are often confronted with problems of not being able to take their children to school on their own and bring them back due to the nature of their jobs. The children are safeguarded from menace of kidnapping, road accidents and other dangers faced by commuters daily to school. A total of 58 children are enrolled in the school run programme, serviced by two buses.

The JDPC Onitsha school run scheme started in the year 2005.The Two buses  engages the services of two drivers and 2 childminders and each bus carries a minimum of twenty-eight pupils from different locations within Omagba, Awka road and GRA Onitsha.
