JDPC Onitsha Marks World Health Day 2025 with Community Medical Outreach in Okpoko Community, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.

In Celebration of World Health Day 2025, the Justice, Development and Peace/Caritas (JDPC) Onitsha Held a Medical Outreach Themed “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Future” at St. Charles Lwanga Parish Okpoko Community. The event provided essential Health Services to the Local Community, including Tuberculosis (TB) Sensitization and Screening with a Portable Digital X-ray (PDX) Machine, as well as Blood Pressure and Sugar Level Checks. A total of 327 Packets of Free Medications – such as ACTs, Antibiotics, Amlodipine, Glucophage, Glibenclamide, and Metronidazole-were distributed alongside 3 sets of 3,000 free Tablets. We thank See Best Pharmatical Industries and Mgrs. Theo Odukwe for their donations. Equally, we appreciate fourteen medical personal that assisted in the program. Beyond Medical treatment, the Outreach emphasized health education, with talks focused on maternal care and healthy living. A Total of 164 participants benefited from the services, gaining both medical support and knowledge to encourage healthier lifestyles. JDPC Onitsha initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to improving the well-being of underserved Communities through accessible and impactful healthcare programs.
