As part of efforts to strengthen partnership under the Flood Risk Reduction and Management Project in Nigeria, CRS Institutional Capacity Strengthening Coordinator, Anselm Nwoke, met with enumerators and project staff to get direct information on the progress of the project. He equally conducted a monitoring visit to key intervention sites—such as an embankment wall in Akili Ogidi and renovated public facilities in Ogwuikpere and Akili Ogidi—across the 12 project communities in Ogbaru LGA, where JDPC Onitsha is implementing flood resilience measures with CRS support to safeguard lives, livelihoods and improve social amenities in the flood-prone and hard to reach riverine communities.
