JDPC parishes sensitized parents, parishioners in many parishes and CWOs during the August Meetings on the need to advice and encourage their children to engage on extracurricular exercises, entrepreneurial trainings or vocational trainings like computer lessons, bead making, hair-prating, learning how to play organ or jitter, etc. instead of truancy and wiling away their times during holidays as these could help them in future.  This was aimed at discouraging truancy, engaging in crime and preparing them for better future.
