History: PROMIC 2 is a scheme founded by OPEN HANDS FOUNDATION SWITERLAND that started in the year 2012. It was aimed to improve livelihood of the poor with access to loan to boast petty trading businesses. Sponsors: OPEN HANDS FOUNDATION.
Name of Communities: The project is being carried out in these communities: Nteje, Umueri, Nando, Aguleri, Umumbo, Umuezeanam, Obosi, Umueje, Awada, Nkwelle 3-3, Awka-etiti, Umudioka, Ogidi, Ega-oja, Omor, Umuoji, Odekpe, and Nkwelle Ezunanka.
No of beneficiaries reached. Since its inception one thousand three hundred and eight (1,308) persons have benefitted from the project.
