Cook stove project on climate change mitigation, climate change crisis, innovative traditional cook stove and climate change adaptation was carried out in partnership with Sun24 and Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN) and powered by Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Initiative (CCMAI) from Abuja.

Over 1000 rural women drawn from almost all 0ommunities in Onitsha Arch diocese were trained on the use of special stones and firewood to cook in such a way to reduce the number of fire wood used, the emission and the speed at which food is cooked.
