Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha Micro Credit Support Project (CADOMICS) is design to impact the lives of poor farmers across riverine and rural communities of the Archdiocese as a  poverty alleviation scheme. The beneficiaries are both men and women who through the credit scheme are financially empowered, with this credit programme a new world of possibilities opens up for these rural men and women farmers. Hence, they can  be able to procure better new seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, farm produces for sustainable farm production. The scheme is supported by the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian M. Okeke since December 2014.

PROJECT GOAL.

To strengthen Cathoic faith,improve human development and empower at least 1,000  poor farmers for economic and social progress.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE.

The Objective of the programme is to reduce poverty by enabling hundreds of poor men and women in the rural communities to improve their agricultural outputs through the provision of credit,investment consultancy and entrepreneurial training to generate self-confidence and income.The Programme targets to promote a culture of self-sustenance,instill values to alleviate poverty and promote economic sustainability.
