JDPC Onitsha celebrated Day of the Poor in 12 communities, 8 in Ayamelum Local Government Area (Omor, Igbakwu, Ifite Ogwari, Omasi Uno, Nando, Umueri, Ugwunadegba communities. (LGA) and 4 in Oyi (Awkuzu, Nteje, Ogbunike and Nkwelle Ezunanka communities, LGA. The 12 beneficiaries made up of 10 females and 2 males. These are old people who have no one to carter for them. Each beneficiary received 1 bag 10kg rice, 3 litres of groundnut oil, 1kg of detergent, 6 pieces of toilet soap, 2packets of knorr, and 2packets of salt.
The aged needs our support
During the world day of the poor JDPC Onitsha reached out to the aged poor that do not have people to take of them. But our volunteers in communities have identified with them with the little help. We are soliciting for your help to reach out to hundreds of the vulnerable -aged, orphans, PLWD, women & girls.CAUSE DONORS
