In 2015, JDPC Onitsha was in a partnership with Rotary Club of Germany.3 young men were selected and sent to Germany for Automobile Maintenance training programme. The 3 Engineers who returned to Nigeria after 3 months to work in the proposed new Automobile workshop in Onitsha Archdiocese. The construction of the Automobile workshop has started.
In 2016, the construction of the one storey building has been roofed and plastered. Some of the needed machineries installed.
On February 9, 2018, Klaus-Gunther Strack and Matthias from Rotary Club of Germany, visited Nigeria for the first time to witness the flag-off ceremony by the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian M .Okeke of the Oluchukwu Automobile workshop and training center constructed by JDPC Onitsha Archdiocese with the support of Rotary Club of Germany.
